Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers has issued resolution “On the organization of the activities of family guest houses, hostels, tent campgrounds, and the improvement of the system of providing public services in this area”.

A family guest house is defined as private residential premises providing temporary accommodation and/or meals for up to 10 guests (tourists) simultaneously, based on the principle of cohabitation with the family members of the house owner in the guest house. In this case, there must be no less than 3 square meters of living space per person.

When organizing the activities of guest houses, the necessary conditions must be created, including the required material and technical base, service quality, and the safety of tourists.

The activities of guest houses, hostels, and tent campgrounds are organized by entering them into a unified registry maintained by the Tourism Committee.

Individuals wishing to organize such activities can apply in person to the Center for Public Services or register through the my.gov.uz. An application form is filled out, accompanied by the necessary documents.

Territorial divisions of the Tourism Committee (authorized body) review the documents within 3 working days from the date of receipt.
