Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uztekstilprom Association organized a working visit of the Egyptian sourcing company Eye of Ra to Uzbekistan, which has more than 20 years of experience in cooperation and selection of suppliers for textile companies in the EU and the USA, including Walmart, GAP, PVH, NJX, Nike, Ross, Levis, VF, Ralph Lauren and Li&Fung.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the leadership of the Association, where they discussed the issues of attracting Egyptian retailers Danial Hechter, Tie House, Nr Sekem, Daludress, Concrete and Town Team to establish cooperation with them in areas for placing orders for finished textile products at Uzbek clothing factories.

In particular, the representatives of the company visited the local textile productions Bonito Group, Zelal Textile, Best Color Textile, Yusteks, Zarafshon Tekstil, Daka Tex and Samarkand Apparel, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the production chain and manufactured products of enterprises. The guests highly appreciated the quality of products and the availability of international certificates required to enter the EU and US markets.

The visit of the working group of the Egyptian company will continue until 29 July, during which it will visit more than 15 local companies. This visit is expected to open up new opportunities for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt in the textile industry.
