Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The draft Presidential Decree on the State Program for 2024 has been published for further public discussion.

Within the program, express bus routes will be organized from suburban areas, including the Nazarbek district to the Chorsu and Pakhtakor metro stations, and from the Uchkhahramon district to the Yunusabad farmers market and the Shakhristan metro station.

In order to prevent traffic jams in the city of Tashkent, one-way traffic will be organized on some streets with traffic flow analysis.

In addition, by optimizing teaching time in universities, the load on transport during peak hours will be reduced.

It is planned to limit or regulate the movement of multi-ton trucks during peak hours. 255 metropolitan intersections will be switched to a “smart traffic light” system.

At least 10 streets will be equipped with paid parking spaces along the roads, and stationary weight and dimensional control posts will be installed on the main highways entering the city.
