Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An explosion occurred in a hotel building in the Afghan capital Kabul, killing at least three people and injuring 13 others, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran told RIA Novosti.
“As a result of an explosion in a hotel belonging to the third district of the city of Kabul, three of our compatriots were killed and 13 more were injured,” Zadran said.
Forces have arrived at the scene to investigate.
At the same time, local media write that the explosion occurred in a restaurant, and add that the explosion of a gas cylinder could be the cause.
