Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee, Umid Shadiev, and Deputy Governor of Navoi Region, S. Mirzaev, conducted an inspection visit to Nurata District to assess the state of tourism infrastructure along the shores of Lake Aydarkul. The focus of their review included beach areas, safari tour sites, and the expanding eco-tourism sector.
Situated 55 kilometers from the center of Nurata District, in the heart of the Kyzylkum Desert, Lake Aydarkul is rapidly emerging as a popular tourist destination. During the visit, newly established yurt camps and recreation zones were inspected, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
The visit aimed not only to familiarize the officials with the existing infrastructure but also to identify challenges faced by local entrepreneurs and investors. Umid Shadiev and S. Mirzaev discussed the timely implementation of investment projects and explored solutions to existing issues in collaboration with relevant government bodies. This highlights the government’s proactive approach to supporting the development of the tourism sector in Navoi Region.
