Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26-28 September, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) held an online webinar in cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Training Center for Information and Communication Technologies (APCICT/ ESCAP) and the e-Government Project Management Center.

Specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC also took part in this webinar held on the topic "Electronic government and digital transformation".

The participants heard a report by the Director of the Asia-Pacific Training Center for Information and Communication Technologies, Kyong Koning, on the importance of developing digital technologies in the development of the national economy, industrial modernization, public administration, the social sphere and the provision of public services.

At the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the participants held large-scale events aimed at the comprehensive digital transformation of economic sectors and social spheres based on the Digital Uzbekistan 2030 strategy. The presentations provided information on dynamic processes for the further development of e-government systems in economic sectors and regions.

The advanced experience of foreign experts, especially lectures on improving the quality of public administration using digital technologies, aroused the interest of the audience.

The webinar provided general information on how to use digital technologies to improve the quality of public administration in Uzbekistan, highlighting the main principles that are considered useful for digital government strategy and policy.

The webinar participants received detailed information about the growing development of digital technologies in the public and private spheres, the positive impact of these technologies on public administration and other solutions.
