Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Uzbekyengilsanoat state joint stock company (Uzbek Light Industry) organized the event at the support of the UNDP project “Business Forum of Uzbekistan”.

The forum was aimed at analyzing current state and perspectives of further development of textile industry, revealing problems and developing proposals on further development of industry and boosting investment activity of textile enterprises.

Representatives of textile enterprises and state bodies, regulating textile industry, as well as interested companies discussed issues of developing industry on actual directions in thematic groups.

During the forum, participants also familiarized with the activity of Uzbekyengilsanoat and considered issues of current development state of textile sector, its legal base, current preferences, creation of industry’s infrastructure, investments, etc.
