The exhibition, which will last till 18 February 2013, is dedicated to the 19th anniversary of establishment of twin town relations between Tashkent and Shanghai.

The event was organized by Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai, Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association, Shanghai Library, Fund Forum, Uzbekistan Art Academy.

The exhibition presented 70 paintings of such authors as Akmal Nur, Marat Sadikov, Gafur Kadirov, Fazylla Ahmadaliev, Hurshid Ziyahanov and Muhtar Isanov.

About 50 photos about Uzbekistan, its achievement, architecture, ancient cities and culture are also exhibited at the event.

On 25 February, the exposition will head to Jiangsu province of China and presented in four cities – Changzhou, Yangzhou, Suzhou and Nanjing. Afterwards, the exhibition will be held in Hangzhou province.
