The event is organized by Fund Forum and "IJOD" Association of artists, art critics and craftsmen of Uzbekistan. This autumn, the exhibition is organized for the 11th time and attract 150 masters from all regions of Uzbekistan.
They will present thousands of their products, including souvenirs, ceramics and china products, clothes with Uzbek patterns, chess, etc.
The project’s author is Gulnara Karimova. The exhibition gathers the best masters of an applied art from all parts of the country, among them are representatives of artists` families and young craftsmen. The project aimed at discovering the creative potential in modern applied arts, introducing wide public with the most interesting trends in this field, supporting creative dynasties and talented craftsmen as well as preserving and enhancing of national heritage.
Within the project, it is planned to handing over grants to masters and their students. The grants are used to develop applied art, revive craftsmanship and traditional forms of art in Uzbekistan.
This year, it is planned to organized master classes, which will allow their participants to familiarize with regional schools of applied art.
