Exhibition dedicated to Rakhim Akhmedov to be held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
An exhibition dedicated to famous portraitist Rakhim Akhmedov (1921-2008) will open at Fine Arts Gallery in Tashkent on 2 December 2011. The exhibition is devoted to the 90th birthday anniversary of the painters.
The organizers of the exhibition are Fund Forum, Association of Painters, Art Critics and People’s Masters “IJOD” and Fine Arts Gallery.
The exhibition will present works of Rakhim Akhmedov, who started his career in 1950s. The works of Rakhim Akhmedov reflects developments n last century.
Rakhim Akhmedov is one of founders of professional painting school in Uzbekistan. His works are stored in many exhibitions and private collections worldwide.
