Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 1 April 2025, new excise rates on fuel will come into effect in Uzbekistan, with an average increase of 10%.

The excise tax on AI-80 gasoline will rise by 10.29%, amounting to 375,000 soums per ton. The retail price for consumers of this type of gasoline will increase from 476 to 525 soums per liter, also reflecting a 10.29% rise.

For gasoline with an octane rating of 91 and higher (AI-91 and above), the excise tax rate for manufacturers will remain at 335,000 soums per ton (+10.56%), while the retail price for consumers will increase to 470 soums per liter (+10.58%).

The excise tax on diesel fuel will also increase: for manufacturers, it will rise from 326,000 to 360,000 soums per ton (+10.42%), and for retail sales, it will go up from 476 to 525 soums per liter (+10.29%).

For eco-friendly diesel fuel (excluding synthetic), the excise rate will increase from 293,000 to 325,000 soums per ton (+10.92%).

Additionally, the excise tax on liquefied gas will increase from 476 to 525 soums per liter for end consumers (+10.29%), and on compressed gas, it will rise from 678 to 750 soums per cubic meter (+10.62%).
