The statement of the Ministry was announced at the end of the Akhborot news programme of Uzbekistan TV channel.

Uzbekistan is interested in ensuring peace and stability in neighboring Kyrgyz Republic, achieving consent and solving all existing problems and confrontation amicably.

Confrontations, which led to human victims and losses, further destabilization of situation in Kyrgyzstan can worsen social-economic situation in the country and complicate management of the state and its structures in places, creates problems at the borders with neighboring states, the statement said.

The Ministry said in a statement that the Uzbek side is forced temporary to strengthen border regime at the border with Kyrgyzstan to prevent destabilization of situation in the neighboring regions of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan believes in wisdom and prudence of the Kyrgyz people, their ability to find and mobilize forces to rehabilitation of peace and public stability in the country, the document said.
