Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPPP) of Uzbekistan has temporarily suspended the license of EUROASIA INSURANCE JSC for 10 days, starting from 6 December 2024.
The suspension follows the discovery of discrepancies in the company's financial reporting that do not comply with the established legal norms.
The license, numbered 031333 and issued on 30 June 2022, has been temporarily suspended for a period of 10 days.
During this suspension, the company is prohibited from entering into new insurance (reinsurance) contracts and extending existing ones.
However, EUROASIA INSURANCE is still obligated to fulfill its commitments under previously concluded insurance (reinsurance) contracts in full and within the established deadlines.
The National Agency for Perspective Projects also warned consumers to refrain from entering into insurance contracts with EUROASIA INSURANCE until the identified issues are resolved.
