The sides discussed implementation of agreements, which were reached during talks of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso in January 2011.

The sides also considered practical issues of developing bilateral cooperation, including in the context of the EU Strategy for Central Asia.

The sides exchanged opinion on perspective directions of interaction in trade-economic, investment, scientific-technical and humanitarian spheres, as well as regional and international issues.
