Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Citizens are allowed to enter railway stations without identification documents.

This is envisaged by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 159 from 17 April 2023.

“Visitors to train stations can now enter the station premises in a simplified manner, that is, without an identity document,” the statement says.

Passengers who have train tickets to the passenger platform, as well as citizens monitoring and receiving patients or elderly passengers with limited mobility, can enter using an identification document.

Persons without tickets, as well as citizens whose data on the ticket does not match the information on the passenger’s identification documents, are not allowed into passenger platforms and passenger cars.
