Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to fulfill the agreements worked out through the National Agency within the framework of the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan business forum, which took place on 26 January 2023 in Bishkek, as well as for the qualitative development of projects included to the list of the "Road Map" between the National Agency and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed following the visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic A.U. Zhaparov from 8-11 March 2023 to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a working visit was made by the Director of the National Agency U.T. Temiraliyev to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan L.Sh. Kudratov. The parties noted the positive dynamics in the development of economic relations and stressed the importance of fulfilling all agreements that need to be implemented by the end of 2023.

At the same time, NAI director U.T. Temiraliyev visited manufacturing enterprises and held a meeting with entrepreneurs who expressed their interest and willingness to invest over US$70 million in the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, today the National Agency is actively working on the implementation of joint projects with the Republic of Uzbekistan related to the construction of an enterprise for the production of basalt fiber, the production of calcium carbide, textile and clothing production, as well as the construction of a plant for the enrichment of quartz in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
