Enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 96.9 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data, in January-February 2024, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 96.9 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2023 amounted to 116.4%.

Today, there are 66.8 thousand industrial enterprises in the republic, of which 11.8 thousand (17.7% of the total number of operating enterprises) are in Tashkent, 7.0 thousand (10.5%) in Ferghana, 7.0 thousand (10.5%) - Tashkent region, 5.9 thousand (8.8%) - Samarkand region and 5.4 thousand (8.1%) - Andijan region.

An analysis of the differentiation of industrial output per capita for January-February 2024 showed a significant excess of the republican average (2.66 million soums) for Navoi region (16.94 million soums), Tashkent city (5.83 million soums) and Tashkent region (4.86 million soums).

In the structure of production, the largest share falls on manufacturing enterprises (77.8%), the production volume of which amounted to 75.4 trillion soums.

In January-February 2024, the largest share in the total volume of industrial production in the republic was Tashkent (18.1%), Tashkent (15.2%), Navoi (18.6%), Andijan (9.9%), Samarkand (4.7%), Ferghana (4.6%) regions.

Compared to the same period in 2023, average industrial production indicators in the republic increased thanks to enterprises in Jizzakh (+40.2%), Andijan (+67.4%) and Namangan (+17.2%) regions.

The volume of products produced by mining and quarrying enterprises in January-February 2024 amounted to 10.2 trillion soums, or 10.6% of the total industry volume.

In January-February 2024, manufacturing enterprises produced products worth 75.4 trillion soums, or 77.8% of the total industrial volume.

In the structure of the manufacturing industry, the share of high-tech industries was 1.3% (2.7% for January-February 2023), medium-high technology - 25.3% (19.3%), medium-low technology - 38.1% ( 35.9%) and low-tech – 35.2% (42.1%).

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production, repair, installation of machinery and equipment, production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, and other finished metal products amounted to 22.4% (the physical volume index by January-February 2023 was 161.4%) , metallurgical industry 27.3% (physical volume index by January-February 2023 was 112.1%), enterprises producing textiles, clothing, leather products 18.2% (physical volume index by January-February 2023 was 108 .7%).

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises producing food, beverages and tobacco products was 14.4% (physical volume index by January-February 2023 was 100.9%), enterprises producing chemical products, rubber and plastic products 7, 2% (physical volume index by January-February 2023 was 109.4%).

In January-February 2024, the republic produced 241.1 thousand tons of motor gasoline (compared to the corresponding period in 2023, a decrease of 8.6%), 90.6 thousand tons of cotton yarn (an increase of 23.8%) 20 .7 million liters of beer (an increase of 28.0%) and 153.9 thousand tons of flour from soft wheat and spelled (a decrease of 38.8%).

In January-February 2024, large enterprises of the republic produced 466 trucks (by the corresponding period in 2023, production volume increased by 33.1%).

In January-February 2024, the share of the metallurgical industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 27.3%, the physical volume index increased by 12.1%, and the production volume amounted to 20,545.7 billion soums.

Based on the results for January-February 2024, the share of other non-metallic mineral products in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.9%, the index of physical production volume increased by 19.8%, and the production volume amounted to 2.91 trillion soums.

In January-February 2024, the share of food products in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 10.7%, the physical volume index was 92.2%, and the total production volume was 8.06 trillion soums.

In January-February 2024, the share of beverage production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.0%, the physical volume index was 126.3%, and the production volume reached 2.23 trillion soums.

Based on the results for January-February 2024, the share of textile production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 14.2%, the physical volume index increased by 8.6%, and the production volume became equal to 10.67 trillion soums.

In January-February 2024, the share of clothing production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.6%, the physical volume index increased by 8.9%, and production volume reached 2.67 trillion soums.

In January-February 2024, the share of chemical products in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 6.0%, the index of physical production volume increased by 8.0%, and the production volume amounted to 4.55 trillion soums.

At the end of January-February 2024, the share of production of coke and petroleum products in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.3%, the physical volume index increased by 65.1%, and the production volume amounted to 2.48 trillion soums.

The volume of products produced by electricity supply, gas, steam and air conditioning enterprises during the period under review amounted to 10.7 trillion soums (11.0% of the total industry volume).

Compared to the same period in 2023, in January-February 2024, electricity production amounted to 99.7%, heat energy – 98.1%.

The volume of products produced by water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal enterprises in January-February 2024 amounted to 0.6 trillion soums (0.6% of the total industry volume).

Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, in January-February 2024 there was an increase in the production of textile waste by 2.3 times, services for the removal, transportation of wastewater and their treatment - by 72.2%, services for emptying, cleaning and treatment of cesspools. pits, settling tanks and septic tanks increased by 10.6%.

In January-February 2024, small businesses produced products worth 19.2 trillion soums, the share of which in total production amounted to 19.9%. For the period from January to February 2023, the share of small businesses in total production amounted to 22.9%.
