Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data, in January-October 2022, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 439.9 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 5.4%, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

An analysis of the differentiation of industrial output per capita for January-October 2022 showed an excess of the national average (12.37 million soums) in Navoi region (67.02 million soums), Tashkent city (30.43 million soums) and Tashkent regions (25.17 million soums).

In the structure of production, the largest share falls on manufacturing enterprises (83.0%), the volume of production of which amounted to 365.0 trillion soums.

In January-October 2022, the largest share in the total volume of industrial production in the republic was the city of Tashkent (20.0%), Tashkent (16.9%), Navoi (15.9%), Andijan (9.3%) and Ferghana (5.6%) of the region.

Compared to the same period in 2021, the average indicators of industrial production in the republic increased due to the enterprises of Andijan (+21.0%), Khorezm (+15.5%) and Syrdarya (+10.8%) regions.

The volume of products produced by mining and quarrying enterprises in January-October 2022 amounted to 42.7 trillion soums, or 9.7% of the total industry.

In January-October 2022, manufacturing enterprises produced goods worth 365.0 trillion soums, or 83.0% of the total industry.

In the structure of the manufacturing industry, the share of high-tech industries amounted to 2.1% (2.7% in January-October 2021), medium-tech - 23.0% (19.6%), medium-low-tech - 37.1% (40.4%) and low-tech - 37.8% (37.3%).

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production, repair, installation of machinery and equipment, the production of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, and other finished metal products amounted to 19.8% (the index of physical volume by January-October 2021 was 14.9%), metallurgical industry - 24.5% (volume index by January-October 2021 amounted to 3.5%), enterprises for the production of textiles, clothing, leather products - 17.3% (volume index by January-October 2021 amounted to 7.5%.

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production of food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to 17.4% (the index of physical volume by January-October 2021 was 106.5%), enterprises for the production of chemical products, rubber and plastic products - 9.5% (volume index by January-October 2021 amounted to 2.4%).

In January-October 2022, 1 008.6 thousand tons of motor gasoline were produced in the republic (in comparison with the corresponding period of 2021, an increase of 9.4%), 498.3 thousand tons of cotton yarn (a decrease of 11.4%), 203.5 million liters of beer (an increase of 2.3%) and 1 451.0 thousand tons of flour from soft wheat and spelled (a decrease of 6.0%).

In January-October 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 3 253 trucks (by the corresponding period in 2021, the volume of production decreased by 7.0%).

In January-October 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 971 buses (by the corresponding period of 2021, the volume of production increased by 25.6%).

In the automotive industry of the country in January-October 2022, 81 311 cars of the “Cobalt” brand were produced (the growth rate increased by 55.0% compared to the same period in 2021), 19 301 – “Nexia” (a decrease of 10.6%), 72 321 – “Gentra” (an increase of 192.6%), 12 445 – “Spark” (an increase of 71.3%), 16 403 – specialized passenger cars (an increase of 29.2%), 59 164 – “Damas” (the growth rate increased by 29.6%) and 2 120 – “Tracker”.

In January-October 2022, 189.6 thousand pieces of automobile engines were produced in the republic (an increase of 59.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2021).

In January-October 2022, the engineering industry produced 672.2 thousand pieces of lead batteries for starting piston engines (an increase in production by 26.7% was recorded compared to the corresponding period of 2021).

In January-October 2022, 3 557 pieces of transformers were produced in the republic (by January-October 2021, the volume of production decreased by 26.4%).

In January-October 2022, 632.8 thousand refrigerators and freezers were produced in the republic (an increase in production by 52.4% was recorded by the corresponding period of 2021).

The overhaul of technological equipment made it possible to increase the capacity utilization of chemical enterprises and exceed the production figures of the previous year for the production of disodium carbonate (14.2% compared to January-October 2021), as well as the production of potassium chloride (0.7%).

In January-October 2022, the share of the metallurgical industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 24.5%, the physical volume index increased by 3.5%, while the volume of production amounted to 89 406.4 billion soums. In January-October 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 26.8%, and the physical volume index increased by 8.4%.

In January-October 2022, the share of other non-metallic mineral products amounted to 4.7%, the index of physical volume of production decreased by 2.0%, and the volume of production amounted to 17 290.6 billion soums. In January-October 2021, the share of production of other non-metallic mineral products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 5.6%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, reached 9.0%.

If in January-October 2022 the share of food products amounted to 13.0%, the physical volume index - 104.1%, and the total production volume – 47 283.4 billion soums, then in January-October 2021 the share of food production nutrition in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 13.5%, and the physical volume index reached 6.0%.

In January-October 2022, the share of beverage production amounted to 3.8%, the physical volume index was 11.8%, and the volume of production reached 13 795.4 billion soums. In January-October 2021, the share of beverage production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.8%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 20.5%.

In January-October 2022, the share of textile production amounted to 13.3%, the physical volume index increased by 8.6%, and the volume of production became 48 416.1 billion soums. According to the results of January-October 2021, the share of textile production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 13.3%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 19.8%.

If in January-October 2022 the share of clothing production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.5%, and the volume index was 104.8%, the volume of production reached 12 932.3 billion soums, then in January-October 2021 the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.6%, and the volume index was 22.3%.

In January-October 2022, the share of chemical products amounted to 7.6%, the index of physical volume of production increased by 1.4%, and the volume of production amounted to 27 600.6 billion soums. In January-October 2021, the share of chemical production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 7.4%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 2.8%.

In January-October 2022, the share of production of coke and refined products amounted to 3.0%, the physical volume index increased by 2.8%, and the volume of production amounted to 10 863.4 billion soums.

According to the results of January-October 2021, the share of production of coke and products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.8%, while the index of physical volume, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 64.6%.

In January-October 2022, the share of production of rubber and plastic products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 1.9%, the physical volume index - 106.4%, the volume of production – 6 908.4 billion soums. According to the results of January-October 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.0%, while the physical volume index reached 13.8%.

In January-October 2022, the share of electrical equipment production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.8%, the index of physical volume of production - 104.6%, and the volume of production – 10 294.4 billion soums. In January-October 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 2.9%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 6.9%.

In January-October 2022, the share of production of metal products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.5%, the physical volume index - 3.5%, and the volume of production – 9 295.7 billion soums. According to the results of January-October 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.7%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 15.2%.

In January-October 2022, the share of motor vehicle production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 11.1%, the physical volume index - 35.7%, the production volume reached 40 431.8 billion soums.

According to the results of January-October 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 8.0%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, was 82.0%.

The volume of products produced by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning enterprises in the period under review amounted to 29.9 trillion soums (6.8% of the total industry).

Compared to the same period last year, in the period under review, the growth rate of electricity amounted to 101.5%, heat production - 94.8%.

The volume of products produced by water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal enterprises in January-October 2022 amounted to 2.3 trillion soums (0.5% of the total industry).

Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, in January-October 2022, there was an increase in the production of textile waste by 12.0%, services for the removal, transportation of wastewater and their treatment – by 34.7%, as well as services for emptying, cleaning and treatment of cesspools, sedimentation tanks and septic tanks - by 23.4%.

As a result of the measures taken to expand the range and stimulate the release of finished products, the production of consumer goods in January-October 2022 amounted to 155.5 trillion soums and, compared with the corresponding period in 2021, the growth rate reached 123.7%, the share in the total volume of industry amounted to 35.4%

In January-October 2022, food products worth 55.2 trillion soums were produced in the republic, the growth rate increased by 21.4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Compared to the same period in 2021, the indicators of the average republican production of consumer goods were exceeded by the enterprises of Andijan (+50.0%), Khorezm (+27.1%) and Syrdarya (+24.4%) regions, as well as the city of Tashkent (122.0%).

In the structure of production of consumer goods, the share of food products was 35.5%, non-food - 64.5%. In January-October 2021, the share of food products in the total volume of consumer goods amounted to 37.1%, non-food - 62.9%.

At the same time, the growth rate of food products by the corresponding period of 2021 amounted to 21.4%, non-food products - 25.0%.

The production of consumer goods per capita in January-October 2022 in the republic amounted to 4 375.6 thousand soums, including in the city of Tashkent – 13 500.5 thousand soums, Andijan region – 9 361.3 thousand soums, Tashkent region - 5 939.0 thousand soums, Khorezm region - 4 809.9 thousand soums.

In the structure of consumer goods production of the republic in January-October 2022, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (25.2% of the total volume of consumer goods), Andijan (19.7%), Tashkent (11.3%) and Samarkand (9.1%) regions.

In the structure of production of non-food products of the republic in January-October 2022, the largest share falls on Andijan region (28.7% of the total volume of non-food products), the city of Tashkent (20.7%), Samarkand (8.9%), Tashkent (8.7%) of the region.

In the structure of food production of the republic in January-October 2022, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (33.3% of the total volume of food products), Tashkent (16.0%) and Samarkand (9.4%) regions.

Today, 97.1 thousand industrial enterprises operate in the republic, of which 16.6 thousand (17.1% of the total number of operating enterprises) fall on the city of Tashkent, 10.8 thousand (11.1%) - Ferghana, 9.8 thousand (10.1%) - Andijan, 9.8 thousand (10.1%) - Tashkent and 8.7 thousand (8.9%) - Samarkand regions.

In January-October 2022, small businesses produced products worth 107.5 trillion soums, the share of which in the total production amounted to 24.4%. For the period from January to October 2021, the share of small businesses in total production amounted to 25.8%.
