Enric (Bengbu) Compressor to supply 10 gas filling compressor stations to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- China’s Enric (Bengbu) Compressor won a tender on supply of 10 gas filling compressor stations (GFCS) to Uzbekistan with the cost of US$14 million.

The Chinese company won the first lot within the tender for purchase of GFCS. The Chinese firm should supply equipment by 1 July 2011.

Uzbekneftegaz national holding company announced a tender to purchase 100 gas filling compressor stations (GFCS) in January 2011 with the cost of US$140.8 million. Tender was prolonged twice. The company announced tender on purchase and supply of GFCS on three lots.

The first lot envisages supply of 10 GFCS by 1 March 2011, the second lot – 30 GFCS by 1 May 2011 and third lot – 60 GFCS from 1 July to 1 October 2011.

According to tender terms, the maximal price of 1 set of station should be US$1.407 million. The designed capacity of each GFCS should make up at least 2.4 million cubic meters of compressed natural gas.

Uzbekneftegaz will finance purchases of GFCS due to own resources.
