Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 October, at 17:17, the Emergency Situations Ministry received a report of a fire on the roof of a renovated hotel building located on Shakhrisabz Street in the Mirabad district of Tashkent.

Fourteen firefighting and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire at 17:24. The fire was localized at 18:19 and fully extinguished by 19:16.

The Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Abdulla Kuldashev, was present at the scene, overseeing the firefighting efforts.

Currently, the causes of the fire and the extent of the material damage are being investigated.

There have been no reports of injuries or fatalities.
