Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Specialists of Uzbekneftegaz are taking measures to ensure the uninterrupted operation of instrumentation, electrical appliances and other equipment at low temperatures, to ensure the stable use of instruments, and treatment with non-freezing chemicals.

Despite this, the currently observed abnormal cold in the republic has an impact on the installations of technological facilities.

Due to freezing on ball valves and pipelines, as well as interruptions in the electrical system of Uzbekneftegaz, emergency shutdowns are observed at gas pumping units of compressor stations of oil and gas production departments and plants.

In particular, 3 gas pumping units at the Shimoliy Nishon compressor station of the Shurtan OGPD, units at compressor stations No. 2 at the Zevarda and Denizkul fields of the Mubarek OGPD stopped in an emergency.

As a result of promptly taken measures in order to prevent a reduction in gas production from the fields transferred to the Shimoliy Nishon compressor station, gas was reloaded to the Shurtan-2 station and the capacity of gas compressor units at this station was increased.

This situation affects the performance of natural gas production of oil and gas production departments, and as a result of the adopted operational measures, large reductions in commercial gas are prevented.

Despite the low temperature, the efforts of specialists from departments and departments are underway to restart the stopped gas compressor units and process units.

At present, gas compressor units No. 200 of the Zevarda compressor station No. 2 and gas compressor units No. 300, No. 400 of the Shimoliy Nishon station have been fully commissioned. Work is underway to commission the gas compressor unit No. 200 of the Denizkul compressor station. It also ensures the stability of gas production.
