The event was organized to promote Korean modern culture Hallyu (World Wave) in Uzbekistan, the Embassy said.
Students of the Korean language faculty of Tashkent State Oriential Institute, Tashkent Pedagogic University named after Nizami and other leading universities of Uzbekistan, Center of Education of Korea and School of Korean Language “Sedjong”, KOICA volunteers. Overall, there were 150 people.
The master class on creation of figures from the paper was held at the beginning of the event holds K-Lover’s Night in Uzbekistan.
During the dinner, the students enjoyed the concert programme. The students presented Korean drum music, dances, plays and others at the event.
The event was organized for the first time and collected fans of Korean language and culture among youth, so they can share their interests, knowledge and experience in the sphere of Korean modern culture Hallyu, the Embassy said.
The Embassy said that it will continue to assist students, who are interested with Hallyu culture so they can unite in one community and exchange experience among themselves.
