Embassy of Japan to present the work of Japanese directors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Japan with the assistance of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the National Agency Uzbekkino will hold the Days of Japanese Films, which will take place the Youth Creativity Palace on 29-31 March.

The program will feature six works by Japanese directors, four feature films and two animation films telling about actual life problems and ways to solve them, about the everyday life of Japanese youth, about the origin of love, the emergence of friendship and mutual understanding between people, about everyday joys and difficulties of ordinary people.

The opening ceremony of the Days of Japanese Films will take place on 29 March and will start with the show of the Koshien Photo Contest: Summer for half a second. ” The film is an adaptation of the annual national championship on photography for high school students, also known as the Tournament of Young Photographers “Shchyashchin Koschien”. It is worth noting that a team from Uzbekistan has been taking part in this competition for the past 4 years. The picture vividly depicts one of the characteristic features of the Japanese people - the formation of the spirit and the desire to win.
