Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On introducing amendments and additions to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the establishment of additional measures to further improve customs administration” was adopted, Norma reports.

In the context of the growth of the country’s foreign trade turnover, the development of cross-border e-commerce, as well as work to achieve complete digitalization of the customs sector, it is necessary to strengthen the social protection of workers and introduce anti-corruption factors.

In accordance with Presidential Decree “On additional measures to further improve customs administration,” the document introduced changes and additions to the existing legal regulations, which envisage:

inclusion of customs authorities in the list of consumer enterprises to which electricity is supplied on special terms;

reduction of advance payment from 100 to 50% when exporting based on an invoice;

export of goods placed under the customs regime of processing in the customs territory,

carried out during export customs clearance based on the criterion of sufficient processing;

approval of the requirement to make additions related to changes in the country of the foreign partner to the cargo customs declaration when carrying out foreign trade operations;

the ability to make changes to the data of foreign trade contracts in a unified electronic information system of foreign trade operations without additional agreements.
