Electric cars launched in Bukhara
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Electric cars have been launched in Bukhara. The first two electric cars have already been delivered and are functioning, the State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan said.

It added that in near future it is planned to purchase at least 10 more electric cars.

They will be a convenient alternative to walking tours in those parts of the old city where the passage of cars is prohibited. A tourist route has already been created for the most interesting objects, which starts from Lyabi Khauz, then passes by Toki Sarafon, Toki Zargaron and through the Poi Kalon complex ends at the fortress Ark.

Similar projects have already been successfully launched and are functioning in Samarkand and Shakhrisabz.

Electric cars are rapidly gaining popularity among citizens and tourists, besides they are environmentally friendly.

On the territory, where electric cars cruise, air is not polluted with exhaust gases, which makes finding there pleasant and safe, and also do not have a negative impact on historical and archaeological sites.
