Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team striker Eldor Shomurodov has extended his contract with Italian club Roma until 2027, according to Calciomercato.

It has been reported that the player agreed to a pay cut in order to remain with the Roman club.

The source also noted that Shomurodov was previously set to transfer to the American club Atlanta United, but the move fell through due to a bureaucratic error.

As of 10 April 2025, Shomurodov has played 78 matches for Roma and scored 12 goals.
