In the s finals of the event played at the EMMTC courts in Aurangabad, third seeded Vlada Ekshibarova easily accounted for fourth seeded Varatchaya Wongteanchai of Thailand 6-1, 6-4 in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Wongteanchai who won the doubles crown late evening with her younger sister Varunya looked lost in her match, so was Vlada's supremacy that the first set was over in just 20 minutes. Vlada played superbly on both flanks upsetting Wongteanchai's rythmn.
Ekshibarova said: “I'm thrilled on winning my second title of the year, I really enjoyed the event and would like to come back next year for a bigger event here. Varatchaya played well, but I played solidly during the week”.
“I had very long matches during the week, and was a little tired, but Vlada played very well,” said Wongteanchai after the marathon.
