Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on the 4th day of the Asian Championships in Athletics, held in Bangkok (Thailand), the final events in the heptathlon competition took place, where our athlete Ekaterina Voronina won the first place. This is the first gold of the Uzbekistan national team at the current championship.

Throughout all the days of the competition, our athlete consistently showed high results in all types.

Ekaterina Voronina scored 6098 points in the heptathlon. This is the best result of this season in Asia.

In second place was Barman Swapna from India - 5840 points, in third place is heptathlete Yamasaki Yuki from Japan - 5696 points.
