According to the report “Regional Economic Prospects in EBRD Countries of Operations”, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan will grow by 7.5% in 2012, which is 0.5 percentage higher compared to the EBRD’s July report.

At the same time, the EBRD kept its forecast on the growth of Uzbekistan’s economy in 2013 at the level of 7%.

The bank’s experts said that the inflation level in Uzbekistan will make up 10% in 2012 compared to 12.8% in 2011.

As reported earlier, the GPD of Uzbekistan, according to IMF forecast, will grow by 7.4% in 2012 and 6.5% in 2013. Meanwhile, the ADB said that economy of Uzbekistan will rise by 8% in 2012 and 7.9% in 2013.
