Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved a loan to Eurasia Bottlers from Uzbekistan for the construction of a new beverage production plant.

According to the EBRD website, Eurasia Bottlers will receive a loan of 15 million euros.

The energy drink manufacturer plans to build a new building for its plant in Tashkent using advanced technologies.

As part of the project, the company intends to install new bottling lines and introduce green electricity generation technologies.

The total cost of the project is 32.4 million euros. The company will also use its funds to implement the project.

Financing will be provided in two tranches at a flexible interest rate depending on risks. In addition, as part of the project, the bank will support the implementation of international financial reporting standards and a quality control system at the beverage manufacturer.

Eurasia Bottlers was founded in 2020. Since May 2021, one of its main products has been an energy drink under the Flash Up brand, bottled under license from Carlsberg.
