EBRD keeps economic development forecasts for Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) kept its forecast on growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2010 and 2011.
In report “Regional Economic Prospects in EBRD countries of operations: July 2010 Update”, the bank said the economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 8.2% in 2010. In previous May report, the bank forecasted the same level of growth for Uzbekistan.
The forecast of the EBRD for 2011 did not change as well and made up 7%.
As earlier reported, the GDP of Uzbekistan grew by 8% year-on-year in the first half of 2010.
