Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The EBRD and ACWA Power Wind Karatau have signed a loan agreement for the construction of a 100 MW wind farm in Nukus, Karakalpakstan.

The document was signed within the framework of the 1st day of the 32nd Annual Meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors in Samarkand.

As part of the agreement, the EBRD will provide a US$19 million loan for the construction of a 100 MW wind farm in Nukus.
