Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Each district khokim to be responsible for curbing inflation, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated this today during a meeting in Bukhara.

He stressed that this should not be done artificially, but by increasing the re-sowing of agricultural crops.

“I sternly warn khokims. Price containment should not be by forcing entrepreneurs to sell their products at low prices. This work should be ensured only and only by increasing re-sowing and increasing production volumes,” Sh. Mirziyoyev noted.
