Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 January, a train stopped at the Dustlik metro station.

The train stop at the Dustlik metro station on 24 January was caused by a technical failure, the press service of the Tashkent Metro reported.

The driver attempted to fix the problem on his own, as noted in the official statement of the capital’s metro.

“Since the breakdown was not repaired, in order to ensure the safety of passengers and the normal movement of trains, passengers were evacuated to the metro station,” the statement said.

After this, the train was sent to the parking lot for technical inspection.
