Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Drivers who participate in group rides that pose a threat to road safety will now be held accountable, according to the Road Safety Service.

Amendments have been made to Uzbekistan’s Administrative Liability Code concerning traffic regulations.

Under the updated Article 129 of the Code, drivers involved in organized group movements that endanger other road users may face administrative penalties.

This applies to cases where such gatherings disrupt normal traffic flow, create hazardous situations, or otherwise compromise road safety.
