Sports 28/05/2007 Draws for AFC Champions League, AFC Cup knockout stage and AFC Final Round for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on June 13
The draws for the AFC Champions League 2007 and AFC Cup 2007 knockout stages as well as the AFC Final Round for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will take place on June 13, 2007, in Kuala Lumpur at AFC House.

The draw ceremony will kick off with the AFC Final Round for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games at 1400 hours, followed by the AFC Cup draw at 1500 hours and then the AFC Champions League draw at 1530 hours.

While the line-up for the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup has been completed, six teams have already qualified for the AFC Final Round for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and six more will complete the line-up on June 6, 2007, which is the stage two final group qualifying day.

Coming out of the pots for the AFC Champions League knockout draw are Al Wahda (UAE), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Al Karama (Syria), Sepahan (Iran), Urawa Red Diamonds, Kawasaki Frontale (both Japan) and Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (Korea Republic). Defending champions Jeonbuk Motors, who got a bye into the knockout stage, round off the list.

For the AFC Cup, Al Nejmeh (Lebanon), Shabab Al Ordun, Al Wihdat and defending champions Al Faisaly (all Jordan), Sun Hei (Hong Kong), Singapore Armed Forces FC and Tampines Rovers (both Singapore) and Mahindra United (India) will be drawn for the quarterfinals.

Japan, Lebanon , Saudi Arabia , DPR Korea, Iraq and Korea Republic have confirmed their place to date in the AFC Final Round Qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games with one round to spare.
