Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representative of Uzbekistan Dovrukhon Karomatov has won a bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Karomatov competed in the -90 kg weight category for men in class J2 in para-judo and secured victory over Georgian athlete Lasha Kizilashvili, bringing a bronze medal to the Uzbekistan delegation.
This is Dovrukhon Karomatov’s second Paralympic medal. He previously won a silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Currently, Uzbekistan has won a total of 26 medals at the Paris Paralympics: 10 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze.
