DOM.RF to share expertise in housing sector with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 September 2024, Vitaly Mutko, General Director of DOM.RF, met with a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Acting Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Sherzod Khidoyatov.

During the meeting, they discussed the development of the housing sector and prospects for cooperation.

DOM.RF offered Uzbekistan the opportunity to utilize its experience in housing construction and comprehensive urban development, including the implementation of the Comprehensive Development of Territories (CDT) Standard, as well as the participation of Uzbek representatives in the educational program "Architects.rf."

The issue of standardization in housing construction was also addressed. DOM.RF presented its "green" GOST standards for multi-apartment and individual residential buildings, along with a draft interstate standard for the construction of "green" multi-apartment buildings, aimed at countries in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the CIS.

Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to support the adoption and promotion of these standards.

The goal of these standards is to establish and disseminate best practices for the construction of quality housing.

As Vitaly Mutko noted, DOM.RF acts as a kind of "project office" where solutions aimed at developing the housing sector are developed and tested. The company intends to share its accumulated expertise not only to improve living conditions in Russia but also to export this knowledge to other countries.

"For more than 27 years, DOM.RF has been comprehensively addressing the challenges of increasing housing accessibility and improving the urban environment in the interests of citizens, business, and government. We have accumulated unique experience in master planning, utilizing undeveloped land, developing financial instruments, and IT solutions. I am confident that our approaches to territorial development and attracting investments in housing and infrastructure construction will also be beneficial for Uzbekistan. We are ready for cooperation and to share our knowledge with other countries," emphasized Vitaly Mutko.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation also toured DOM.RF’s rental project in the residential complex "Heart of the Capital."

Additionally, Uzbek representatives learned about the implementation of escrow accounts and mortgage programs by visiting a new residential quarter in the center of Moscow, financed by DOM.RF Bank.
