Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Medical experts from South Korea will launch a program for diagnosing breast cancer in the regions of Uzbekistan, using ultrasound diagnostic devices based on artificial intelligence, Dunyo news agency reports.

In April 2024, a group of doctors from South Korea is planned to arrive, including specialists from the Gyeongbuk National University Clinic and the manufacturer of medical equipment and consumables Beamworks.

During the visit, South Korean experts plan to discuss with the leadership of the Tashkent Medical Academy the prospects for cooperation in the field of diagnosing breast cancer in Uzbek women using ultrasound equipment based on artificial intelligence.

It is also planned to introduce a program to train Uzbek doctors in the use of high-tech equipment.
