Participants of the round table discuss chronology of the draft law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On international commercial arbitration” and comments provided by UNCITRAL Working Group to this draft law.

The Round Table is one of the series of events which is planned by the Arbitration Development Center this year in support to the development of alternative methods of dispute settlement. It is mainly to discuss the comments from UNCITRAL Working Group to the draft law

All recommendations and comments provided to the draft law will be taken into consideration for further elaboration of the final draft. It is essential to note that main purpose of the draft law is to regulate the ground for establishment and scope of activities as well as the acceptance and execution of the decrees of the international commercial arbitration courts on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The round table is organized within the joint project of UNDP and CCI Uzbekistan, “Support to the development of arbitration courts and other alternative methods of dispute settlement in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
