Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential Decree “On measures to bring the textile, clothing and knitting industry to a new stage of development” was adopted.

According to it, until 1 January 2026, the directorates of textile industrial zones and the enterprises created in them are exempt from paying:

- property tax;

- land tax;

- tax for the use of water resources.

From 1 May 2024 to 1 May 2026 in the activities of business entities in the textile, clothing and knitwear sector of category “A” and above the sustainability rating:

- tax audits are not carried out (except for audits carried out in criminal cases);

- reimbursement (refund) of the VAT amount to business entities of this category is carried out without checks within one day.
