Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Mavlyuda Yusupova has been appointed to the position of director of the International Research Institute "Silk Road" at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road".

The appointment took place according to the order of the rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road".

Mavlyuda Yusupova was born on 7 May 1957 in the city of Chinaz, Tashkent region. She graduated from Tashkent State Polytechnic University and graduate school of the State Institute of Art Studies. 

Over the years, she worked as a senior architect at the Institute for the Restoration of Architectural Monuments, a junior researcher at the Institute of Art History, deputy director for scientific work, and director of this institute.

Until today, she worked as the head of the “Architecture” department of the Institute of Art History.
