It was noted that the club scored 20 goals and conceded 29 goals. The goal difference is 9. In the 2021 Super League season, after 18 rounds, the team is in 5th place with 29 points. And the goal difference is +12.

Mehriddin Abdullayev expressed concern that if the situation continues in this way, Bunyodkor may find itself in the most shameful situation in its history and, unfortunately, leave the Super League by the end of this year.

For such negative results, problems with financing were previously spoken out, at present there are no problems with financing, on the contrary, all the funds necessary for the club and the management, salaries and bonuses are financed in a timely manner.

It was reported that the above indicates insufficient fulfillment of their duties by the club’s director Mirzaev Ulugbek and the coach of the main team Viktor Karpenko. In this regard, the director of the club, Ulugbek Mirzaev, was relieved of his post, and the director of the Bunyodkor Academy, Aziz Khaydarov, was appointed in his place.

Ivan Boshkovich has been appointed head coach of the Bunyodkor U-21 team instead of the main team coach Viktor Karpenko. Boskovic is familiar with European football as a football player and coach. It was hoped that his experience would change the results in the team.
