In 2010, Aleksei Evstafeev side clinched the second place at the AFC U-16 Championship and Dilshod Nuraliev should at least repeat this success.

Uzbekistan U-16 held training camp in Dukent of Tashkent region. The team held two friendly matches against youth of Pakhtakor and Locomotiv and won them with the score 2-0 and 3-0 respectively. Currently, Nuraliev trains with 24 players, but only 23 of them will travel to Iran.

Dilshod Nuraliev’s side will gather on 19 September and two days later, the team will leave for Iran. Uzbekistan is in Group D along with Syria, China and India. Uzbekistan will face India on 23 September.
