Digital television coverage in Uzbekistan to reach 88% by end of 2016

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will bring the level of coverage of population with digital television up to 88%, the meeting of the Board of the Ministry of development of information technologies and communication said.

At the meeting, it was said that currently level of coverage of population with digital television reached 79.5%.

By the end of 2016, it is planned to install 10 digital TV transmitters and the level of coverage will reach 88%.
