Digital Tashkent: the possibilities of the project are being studied using the example of the intellectual management of Shenzhen

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- To ensure the fulfillment of tasks identified in five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021 in the "Year of Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy", improving the quality of life of the population and creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurship and development of the "digital economy", a comprehensive program "Digital Tashkent" was approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. To implement this program, the Department of Digital Development was created under the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent.

The implementation of a comprehensive program for the digitalization of the capital takes into account the use of digital technologies and innovative solutions that can accelerate and facilitate interaction between government bodies and the population. To get acquainted with the most relevant and effective solutions for the digital transformation of the capital, representatives of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, headed by the deputy khokim for the implementation of information technologies Sardor Abdullayev, visited the center of innovative and integration solutions of Huawei in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, they learned about a solution for safe and intelligent urban traffic that can eliminate traffic management problems by law enforcement agencies, ensure optimal control and regulation of traffic, and reduce road congestion during rush hours. Using the example of a demo version of the solution, we studied the possibility of effectively enforcing traffic rules through the use of cloud devices with a variety of algorithms that record a greater number of violations.

Also during the event, the possibility of analytics of big data flowing to the city government from various departments and government agencies was demonstrated, using the example of intelligent management of one of the districts in Shenzhen.

At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed the most acceptable options for the further deployment of intelligent city management systems, taking into account the previously introduced systems.
