The meeting was attended by officials of the Cabinet of Ministers and representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Central Bank, the State Statistics Committee, State Committee for Nature Protection, State Tax Committee and the State Customs Committee.

The priorities for 2015 was discussed in the meeting, including a formation of the public open data portal, an improving the government portal - GOV.uz, modernization of websites, and introduction of a new interactive services.

During the event, the participants considered reports of representatives of the State Committee for CITT and United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan, on priorities for the implementation of information systems and interactive services. In particular, the participants were introduced with the world experience of a publication of "open data" and prospective of "open data" to improve an openness and transparency of public authorities.

At the end of the event, it was noted that state authorities are now facing major challenges such as transmission of available data to a machine-readable format, allocation of appropriate funds for improvement of the website, as well as drawing up a list of basic public services and transformation them into an interactive form.
