Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 July 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Israel Said Rustamov met with Hanny Sobol, CEO of Israel Association of Travel Agencies and Consultants.

At the meeting, a number of practical steps for expanding bilateral cooperation in tourism between Uzbekistan and Israel were outlined.

In particular, an agreement was reached on actively using the potential and the ITTAA site for promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Israel, including by organizing presentations for representatives of Israel’s travel companies, and closely coordinating efforts for participating of travel agencies of the two countries in major annual international tourism exhibitions in Uzbekistan and Israel.

ITTAA delegation is expected to visit Tashkent this fall to establish partnership with the Association of Private Tourism Organizations of Uzbekistan, hold talks in relevant agencies of the country, as well as organize a roundtable discussion with domestic tour operators.
