Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Utkir Saidov was appointed deputy minister of tourism and sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan for ziyarat tourism.

This was announced by deputy Prime minister, minister of tourism and sports Aziz Abdukhakimov on 28 April during an event dedicated to the development of pilgrim tourism in Uzbekistan.

Prior to that, Utkir Saidov worked in such positions as an adviser to the chairman of the State committee for tourism development on improving the efficiency of spiritual and educational work, ensuring compliance with legislation on the state language, and also was the head of the Department for work with foreign diasporas of the State committee for tourism development.
