Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 January 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States Jonathan Henick.

The parties discussed the issues of intensifying political dialogue and boosting trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the schedule and organizational aspects of joint events planned for 2024.

A particular attention was paid to the prospects for strengthening Uzbekistan - the U.S. relations in the context of the implementation of all the previously reached agreements at high-levels.

The agenda of the meeting also included the issues of expanding the legal framework of bilateral relations.
